The grid reference is SN685944. We will be staring in the forestry behind Furnace in Cwm Einion and making our way through the mountains behind Talybont and Tre’r Ddol.

From Aberystwyth you will be travelling on the A487 towards Machynlleth through the village of Taliesin and Tre’r Ddol, you will pass the Wild Fowler pub and Petrol station in Tre’r ddol on the right. Continue along the A487 for approximately 0.9 miles, you will need to take the second turning on the RIGHT which is a forestry entrance. We will of course have signs up for you.

From Machynlleth on the A487 travelling towards Aberystwyth you will go through the villages of Eglwys Fach and Furnace (with the Water Wheel) once you have passed the water wheel on your left and then the garage on your right you will need to take the fourth turning on your left on to the forestry road. Be careful to spot the third turning as this is a small lane and easily missed.

There will be signs on the forestry turning, it is a large splay and is plenty wide enough for you to turn in and out of. You will need to continue on this forestry road for about a mile or so.
